DragoRossi Gangster $799

The Gangster is the latest high-performance creeker/river-runner from DragoRossi.

The Gangster is based on the highly successful Mafia hull, but is slightly longer - not as long as the Critical Mass, a little wider, and has a slightly lower profile deck than the Mafia. All this makes the Gangster a highly maneuverable and more stable kayak that is perfectly tuned for hard river running, and also makes it an excellent creeker.

The Gangster was created for all those “non-believers” out there. Our goal was to create a boat that performs at the same high level of every DragoRossi boat, but does it with a very familiar feel. Once they get accustomed to the level of performance they get from DragoRossi kayaks, we think they will never settle for “industry standard” again.

We were able to lower the price of the Gangster, without affecting the performance by focusing on making a boat that paddles and handles like a DragoRossi, but has fewer of the high-cost extras that other DR creekers enjoy, like a rear storage hatch, and our revolutionary outfitting – going instead with a more industry-standard setup. We look at the Gangster as the Ferrari Mondial of our line. It has all the performance you would expect, but in a slghtly different package.
